Get a head start on your holiday shopping while powerfully supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs! The Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary is thrilled to host our 1st Annual Early Bird Indigenous Christmas Artisan Market. This Indigenous Christmas Market Calgary event is a unique platform designed to showcase and support Indigenous artists and their businesses, providing them with an opportunity to sell their handcrafted work and support their families and communities.
This market celebrates the creativity and resilience of our urban Indigenous community members. By attending, you are directly investing in the economic empowerment of local artists.
This event is more than just shopping—it’s a vibrant cultural experience. You will find a wide range of handcrafted goods, from traditional beadwork, carvings, and basketry to contemporary art, jewelry, textiles, and food.
In addition to discovering unique gifts, you can enjoy cultural programming throughout the day:
Live Music
Traditional Storytelling
A Complimentary Winter-Themed Family Photo Booth
Food Concession
This market directly promotes and preserves Indigenous culture, provides essential economic opportunities for artists, and connects the wider community with Indigenous creators. 100% of all sales go directly to the artists, supporting their families and communities.
