Services
Community Outreach and Cultural Reconnection
At AFCC, we believe deeply in the power of connection – to culture, to community, and to heritage. This service area focuses on fostering these vital links for urban Indigenous individuals and families through programs that share traditional knowledge, support language revitalization, and offer opportunities for ceremony and cultural gatherings, strengthening bonds and well-being.

Housing Services
Safe, stable, and culturally appropriate housing is fundamental. AFCC’s Housing Services work to address housing insecurity and homelessness within the urban Indigenous community by providing affordable housing options and culturally sensitive support services designed to foster long-term stability and well-being.

Community Member Services
AFCC offers a broad range of supports designed to enhance the quality of life for Indigenous individuals and families living in Calgary. From navigating essential services and accessing resources to pursuing education and employment opportunities, these services aim to empower community members while honouring cultural identity and values.

Elders Services
Honouring the wisdom and supporting the well-being of Indigenous Elders is a cornerstone of AFCC. Our Elders Services provide dedicated resources, programs, and spaces where Elders can lead fulfilling lives, stay connected to community, receive culturally appropriate care, and share their invaluable teachings with younger generations.
