The Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary (AFCC) is honoured to invite community members to our upcoming Beginner Blackfoot Language Virtual Learning series.

Language is the heartbeat of our culture. It holds our stories, our history, and our worldview. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn your first words or a speaker wanting to practice and connect, this virtual circle is open to you.

Join us from the comfort of your home as we learn together in a supportive and encouraging environment with our instructor Krista White (Siksapiaki).

Program Details:

  • Instructor: Krista White / Siksapiaki

  • Format: Virtual via Microsoft Teams

  • Dates: Every Tuesday, beginning February 3rd, 2026 and ending March 24th, 2026

  • Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM

  • Cost: Free

  • Level: Beginner Friendly | New theme each session

What We Will Learn: This series is beginner-friendly and features a new theme each session, helping you connect with community and culture through language.
