The Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary (AFCC) is pleased to share the July 2026 calendar for the Elder’s Drop-In Centre, also known as Kanakaa ‘tsninom or All Friends Place. We are located at 4630 16th Ave NW.
Please sign in at the Elder’s Centre upon arrival. This allows us to do our best to meet your needs as a highly valued community member.
Hours of Operation:

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Fridays: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Wednesdays: Closed

Please note: The centre is also closed on Wednesday July 1, Friday July 3, Monday July 6, Tuesday July 7, and Thursday July 9.
July Highlights & Special Events:

AFCC Stampede BBQ: Please note that on July 9th, the centre is closed for the AFCC Stampede BBQ at the Marlborough Community Centre.
Weekly Favourites & Daily Activities: Join us for Cooking class, Not Alone Tea Party, Bingo, and our Friday Coffee, Tea & Bannock. Afternoon programs run from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Mondays: “Remember When” on July 13, Mini Headdress Earrings on July 20, and “Not Alone Tea Party” on July 27.

Tuesdays: Cooking Class on July 14, Rattle Making on July 21, and Beaded Hair Ties on July 28.

Thursdays: Cowboy Hats Band on July 2, Feast on July 16, Bingo on July 23, and Beaded Earrings on July 30.

Fridays: Coffee, Tea & Bannock runs every Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (July 10, 17, 24, and 31).
