AFCC Holiday Hours 2025: Feasting, Friendship & Season’s Greetings

Home » Community News » AFCC Holiday Hours 2025: Feasting, Friendship & Season’s Greetings

Oki, Tansi, and Holiday Greetings!

As we look toward the end of the year, the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary (AFCC) is sharing our official AFCC Holiday Hours 2025 and a message of gratitude to our relatives.

In our ways, gathering to share a meal is how we honour our connections to one another. Today, the AFCC family—our staff and Board of Directors—came together to feast, share laughter, and strengthen the kinship (wahkohtowin) that makes our work possible. We even had a special visit from Santa to join in the celebration!

Reflecting on a Year of Support As we move into the deep winter, we follow the teachings of the season: to slow down, to rest, and to return to our home fires. It has been a year of immense growth and resilience. From the expansion of our housing initiatives to the critical work of our Indigenous Warming Centre, our team has worked tirelessly to wrap our community in warmth and dignity.

We raise our hands in gratitude to you—our community, partners, and relations—for walking with us this year. Your friendship allows us to do this good work.
