The holidays should be a time of warmth, kinship, and belonging. For our vulnerable relatives on the streets of Calgary, this season can bring biting cold and profound isolation. At the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary (AFCC), we believe everyone deserves to feel the warmth of community. Our AFCC Holiday Outreach Campaign is critical to sustaining this work.

Our Outreach Team is on the front lines daily, providing essential items, food, and dignity. This Christmas, your donation is critical to sustaining this vital, human-first work.

The Power of Your Individual Gift

Your generosity tells our community: “You are seen, you are valued, and you are not alone.” No matter the amount, your honour and generosity directly fuel our front-line teams and demonstrate the impact of the AFCC Holiday Outreach Campaign.

Gift Level Direct Impact to Community
$25: The Gift of Dignity Provides a comprehensive hygiene kit (toothbrush, soap, etc.) and a warm pair of thermal socks for a relative living rough.
$50: The Gift of Nourishment Provides up to 25 nutritious snack bags for our outreach teams or helps fund a full day of hot food for our Soup Day/Hot Dog Friday programs.
$100: The Gift of Warmth Purchases a high-quality winter jacket, thermal boots, or a heavy blanket to protect a relative from Calgary’s harsh winter nights.
$250: The Gift of Joy Helps sponsor a family at our Christmas Party, ensuring children receive a gift and the family shares a traditional holiday meal together.
