Honouring Life: Your October Youth Program Calendar
Hello friends! We’re excited to share our October 2025 Youth Program Calendar! This month is filled with opportunities for healing through culture, building new skills, and connecting with community. The main focus of the Honouring Life program is just that: healing through culture. We strive to help Indigenous youth enhance their connections to their culture and encourage them to participate in community and cultural events.
What Honouring Life Is
Our programming currently works with several schools in the Calgary area to deliver consistent cultural programming. We use the 7 Sacred Teachings and basic medicinal knowledge as the foundation for our programs. From there, we introduce youth to Elders and Knowledge Keepers, and also include traditional arts and crafts and land-based learning trips. In-school programming will resume on November 1st.

Homework Help: We have weekly Homework Help sessions to support your academic journey.

Drumming & Singing: On Wednesdays, join us for Drumming & Singing with Adrian.

Elder Teachings, Traditional Arts & Crafts: This activity will be held on Monday, October 27th.
