Join us as we relive a truly special afternoon! The Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary (AFCC) was proud to host an exclusive book signing and Q&A with the award-winning Inuk artist, Susan Aglukark. This video captures the highlights from Susan’s only stop in Calgary to promote her powerful new memoir, Kihiani: A Memoir of Healing.

The memoir, co-authored with Andrea Warner, explores themes of trauma, resilience, and the redemptive power of Indigenous art and culture. We were honoured to welcome such a celebrated artist and advocate whose achievements include multiple Juno Awards, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, and Officer of the Order of Canada.
