Welcome to the digital home of our latest resource. At the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary, our mission is to provide holistic, traditional approaches that empower our urban community. Whether you are looking for housing support, youth initiatives, or Elder care, understanding the full scope of our Indigenous programs is the first step toward finding the right path forward.

To make our services more accessible, we have created the “AFCC at a Glance” interactive booklet. This tool allows you to flip through our current offerings and see how we are working to remove barriers for everyone we serve.

Rooted in Culture and Community

Our work is guided by the principle of “Many Nations, One Family.” We currently operate out of seven locations, including our Downtown Indigenous Hub and the Elders Drop-In Centre. Each of our Indigenous programs is built upon the Seven Grandfather Teachings: Humility, Bravery, Honesty, Wisdom, Truth, Respect, and Love.

By integrating these values into our daily operations, we ensure that every community member who walks through our doors feels a sense of belonging and cultural reconnection. While this “At a Glance” booklet provides an essential summary, it is only the beginning of the story.
