Oki / Tansi! Celebrate Family Day with Connections and Celebration.
This February, the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary (AFCC) invites our community to embrace the winter spirit with a special Family Day Ice Skating gathering. Winter is a time for storytelling and coming together, and there is no better way to celebrate than by joining us at the beautiful Bowness Park for an afternoon of outdoor fun, warmth, and kinship.
Experience Family Day Ice Skating & Culture Whether you are a professional on the ice or lacing up for the first time, this Family Day Ice Skating event is designed for everyone. We are creating a space for families to connect not just with nature, but with each other.
Our gathering will take place at the famous Bowness Park lagoon. You can check the current ice conditions on the City of Calgary Bowness Park website.
