Welcome to the official July 2025 events calendar for the Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary (AFCC) Main Office, also known as the Indigenous Hub, located at 316 7 Ave SE.
We are excited to share a month filled with community, culture, and connection. Below you will find a summary of the events and programs scheduled for this month. Annual Stampede BBQ: Join us for our yearly Stampede BBQ on Tuesday, July 8th.

Howl Experience Day Trip: We are hosting a Howl Experience Day Trip on Wednesday, July 30th.

Glacial Erratic & Saskatoon Berry Field Trip: Join us for a field trip to see the Glacial Erratic and pick Saskatoon berries on Thursday, July 31st.
Recurring Programs & Services
We are pleased to offer a variety of recurring programs and services throughout the month to support our community.

Honouring the Bonds: This program runs every Saturday in July from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. For more information, please contact: htb@afccalgary.org.

Smudge with Us: Join us for a smudge every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Soup Day: Warm up with a bowl of soup every Thursday at 9:00 AM until we run out.

Hot Dog Friday: Enjoy a hot dog with us every Friday at 9:00 AM.

Food Hampers: Food hampers will be available on Monday, July 14th, Monday, July 21st, and Monday, July 28th until we run out.

Smudge Vow Program: This program runs on t Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Please check the calendar for more info. For inquiries, contact: kmccarthy@alocalgary.org.

Status Card Clinic: A Status Card Clinic will be held this month. For details, please contact: bdodds@alocalgary.org.
Please note: Daily snack bags, food hampers, soup, and hot dogs are available while daily supplies last.
Holiday Closures & Special Hours
Please be aware of the following closures and special hours for July:

Canada Day: Closed on Tuesday, July 1st.

Friday, July 4th: Closed.

Monday, July 7th: Closed.
Our regular hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are closed for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM daily.
