The Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary is thrilled to host a special book signing and meet-and-greet with the renowned Inuk singer-songwriter and author, Susan Aglukark. You’re invited to join us for an unforgettable afternoon celebrating her new memoir of healing, “Kihiani.”
This is a unique opportunity for our community to get a personally signed copy of the book. Following the signing, stay for a compelling Q&A session with the author. Light refreshments will be provided, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
Susan Aglukark is a true force in Canadian art and advocacy. She’s a celebrated artist known for her powerful songs that blend beautiful Inuit folk traditions with contemporary music. Her incredible achievements speak for themselves and provide an inspiring example of artistic and cultural leadership. Her accomplishments include being an Officer of the Order of Canada, receiving the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement, and winning multiple Juno Awards. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet a respected artist who has made such a significant impact!
