Star Blanket Day 1⭐️

July 15 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Oki!

Come and join our circle for a very special event. We invite our Indigenous Elders and seniors to learn the sacred art of Star Blanket making. All seniors are welcome to share in this beautiful tradition.

A Star Blanket is a great honour to receive, and a true gift from the heart to create. It represents protection, respect, and the connection between the creator and the community.

This is Day 1 of our three-day workshop. On this first day, we will begin our journey together. You will learn the first steps of creating your very own Star Blanket. Our instructors will guide you with gentle hands and open hearts. No experience is needed, just a willingness to learn and create.

Join us to share stories, learn a beautiful skill, and begin making a treasure that will be cherished for generations.
