Smudge Vow Virtual: Online Healing and Reintegration

November 6 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Aboriginal Friendship Centre of Calgary is proud to offer our Smudge Vow program in a fully virtual format, creating an accessible and effective path to healing. As one of the most comprehensive options for online court support in Alberta, Smudge Vow Virtual delivers the same culturally-rooted teachings and compassionate guidance as our in-person sessions, directly to you, wherever you are.

This program is designed to remove barriers like distance, transportation, or scheduling conflicts, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to access this vital support. Our skilled facilitators are experts at creating a safe, confidential, and interactive virtual sharing circle where every voice is heard and respected.

Who Is This Program For?

Smudge Vow Virtual is an all-inclusive program for adults (18+) from all backgrounds. It is an ideal resource for individuals who:

  • Are navigating the justice system and require a certified program.
  • Live outside of Calgary but within Alberta.
  • Face mobility or transportation challenges.
  • Seek a confidential path to healing from the privacy of their own home.

Our program is a leading choice for online court support in Alberta, equally valuable for any adult struggling with life’s challenges and seeking positive change. We provide support letters and progress reports for those with mandated attendance.

Core Program Pillars

Our curriculum is holistic and comprehensive, covering essential topics through virtual sharing circles, guided lessons, and cultural teachings. These include wellbriety, anger management, healthy relationships, and self-reflection. This program runs in parallel with our in-person Smudge Vow Program.

How to Join the Virtual Program

The process is simple and confidential. Please contact our Justice Coordinator to begin your intake discussion. Be sure to specify you are interested in the virtual program.
