In the spirit of friendship and community, the Kanakaa’tsinom Elder’s Centre invites you to our “Not Alone” Tea Party. This special gathering is a dedicated time for Indigenous Seniors, and any community members seeking companionship, to connect in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space. This is one of the core seniors companionship events in Calgary that we are proud to host, aimed at reminding us that we are all part of one family.
A Beautiful Space for Gentle Conversation
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of warm tea, light refreshments, and gentle conversation. There is no agenda other than to enjoy each other’s company. This event is specifically designed to combat loneliness and create lasting friendships. Itās a chance to share a story, listen to another, and remember that within our community, you are never truly alone. Our Elder’s Centre, “All Friends Place,” is a true space for healing, learning, and community connections, offering a peaceful setting to relax and connect.
We understand the importance of social connection for mental and spiritual well-being. Events like this are central to our mission. If you are looking for other seniors companionship events in Calgary, please know that our doors are always open during regular hours. For a full list of our programs, visit the main Elder’s Centre page.
For anyone seeking immediate support, resources like the Calgary Distress Centre are available 24/7.
