As we close out a busy and eventful month, the Kanakaa’tsinom Elder’s Centre invites you to our big June Community Gathering and Feast! Following our special Father’s Day meal earlier in the month, this event is a wonderful chance for all community members to come together one last time in June for a delicious shared meal and good conversation. This is a perfect opportunity to unwind and connect.
A Time to Gather and Share
This end-of-month community feast in Calgary is a time for laughter, storytelling, and strengthening the bonds that make us a family. It’s a warm, welcoming space to catch up with friends, reflect on the month’s activities, and simply enjoy the spirit of community that makes our centre so special. The meal is catered, delicious, and free for all to enjoy.
We believe that sharing food is a cornerstone of our community-building efforts. It’s a time to honour our Elders, welcome friends, and nourish both body and spirit. To see what other events are happening, please visit the main AFCC Events page.
We are proud to be part of a network of organizations fighting food insecurity. Learn more about city-wide efforts at the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary website.
