Stampede Pin Craft
July 3 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Yahoo! It’s time to get into the Stampede spirit with a fun, hands-on crafting session at the Kanakaatsi’nom Elder’s Centre. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Indigenous Elders and Seniors to gather, share some laughs, and channel their creativity into making something special and festive to wear with pride.
All community members are welcome to join us in this friendly and welcoming space. It’s a perfect way to kick off the Stampede season in a good way, surrounded by community.
All materials will be provided, and our friendly staff will be on hand to help. We can’t wait to see the beautiful designs you create!
Event Details:
- What: A free, drop-in workshop to create a Stampede-themed pin.
- When: July 3, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- Where: Kanakaatsi’nom Elder’s Drop-in Centre (4630 16 Ave NW, Calgary).
- Who: Specifically for Indigenous Elders and Seniors, and all friends are welcome to attend.
